8 Things about me
I've done so many tags over the last couple years here and don't want to just repeat myself
so I'll try to post 8 hopefully new little things about me.
ok let's see...
1. I can't get enough of the sea, I love to be near it, when I'm at the sea, breathing that
air, looking out forever and imagining the world beyond my own, the rhythm of the waves like
a lullaby...I feel such serenity there.
2. I've become a little bored with my work as a makeup artist, and would like to one day
move away from the artistry part of the beauty business and open the most fabulous
cosmetics store, one to rival Sephora!
3. Although I've quit smoking 3 different times I still have the occasional cigarette. I
plan to stop it completely, just not quite there yet.
4. I always forget to water my indoor plants, and the poor garden outside doesn't stand a
chance with me lol.
5. I want to learn to play the piano.
6. The suffering of people, especially children in this world weighs so heavily on me, on
my heart, and in my own country a place as modern, rich and great as Canada I can't
understand why we have starving and homeless people here, how did it come to this and why
isn't it being fixed. A few donations from me and others like me can't fix this, it needs
a bigger plan, a better way. We need a leader who actually cares for the state and
well-being of the people to come first before money, before all else.
7. I have 2 favorite movies that also made me cry more than any others,
one is Pans Labyrinth, the other is The Notebook.
Both really amazing films in completely different ways.
8. I'm in love with love, I think love is the most important thing in the world. If you don't
have it you can find it. If you have it and feel it's not enough then it's not a true or real love,
don't settle for less. If you thought you had it but lost it then it wasn't the one meant
just for you. Somewhere there is the perfect match to your soul, the piece you always felt
was missing and only when you find it will you feel truly complete.
Most of all if you're lucky enough to actually have real true love in your life you have to
always treasure it, protect it, give it the greatest care because it's the most precious
thing you'll ever have, something money can never buy and something that can never be
replaced. The rules of the tag are that I now have to tag 8 more people,

 it's my Birthday I know I haven't been around much lately, I had closed my space temporarily because I just wasn't able to be here or make replies. But today is my birthday so a good day to reopen and spend some time with my dear friends here. See you all soon. Un bacio Nikki
